OLYMPIA NEWS

The Secret's Out

After months of rumors and speculation, bodybuilder Chris Bumstead just made it official: He’s being coached by Hany Rambod for the 2022 Olympia. Why is that a big deal? In bodybuilding circles, Rambod is known as “The Pro Creator” and has guided the likes of Phil Heath and Jay Cutler to Mr. Olympia wins in the past.

With a coach like Rambod in his corner, Bumstead isn’t taking any chances as he looks to secure his fourth consecutive Classic Physique Olympia win this year. And this is definitely not the year he wants to take his foot off the gas, especially with contenders like Breon Ansley, Terrence Ruffin, Urs Kalecinski, and Ramon Rocha Queiroz looking to pull off an upset.

A Chip Off the Austrian Oak

By this point, Joseph Baena needs no introduction. Sure, he’s Arnold Schwarzenegger’s son, but with a robust Instagram following, magazine covers to his credit, and a part on Dancing With the Stars on his resume, he’s becoming a celebrity in his own right.

But no matter how "Hollywood" Baena becomes, bodybuilding fans are always going to ask one question: Is he ever going to compete on stage?

Well, we still don’t know the answer, but a recent physique update showed that he certainly has his father’s genes. The update came via Instagram, and it shows a noticeably leaner Baena hitting a pretty impressive vacuum pose after six weeks of Dancing With the Stars training. Though his bodybuilding future is still up in the air, he certainly knows how to tease the fans.
