Freshen Up Your Biceps Day

There are a ton of different biceps exercises to build bigger arms — however, are they all equal? Well, yes and no.

Every biceps exercise will be slightly different based on where an individual’s current training levels are. In order to grow any area on the body, then there needs to be some form of progressive overload. For the biceps, specifically, there are multiple ways you can progressively overload them for growth: You can alter the intensity, frequency, total volume, range of motion, and so much more.

If you feel that your biceps training has gone stale, then it might be time to change up a few of your exercise choices. In the article below, we highlight five unique moves that you need to have in your program.

Coleman Holds Court

Former 212 Olympia champion Derek Lunsford wasted little time when he switched to the Men’s Open division for the 2022 Mr. Olympia. The superstar bodybuilder took home a runner-up finish at the show, putting himself on the precipice of immortality in his very first outing. He’ll try to finish the job at this November’s Mr. Olympia — but first, he decided to get some training advice from a legend.

Lunsford posted a video to his YouTube channel recently where he teamed up with eight-time Mr. Olympia Ronnie Coleman for a back and biceps workout. As the duo hit staple exercises like hammer curls and lat pulldowns, Lunsford got to pick Coleman’s brain for training tips. In return, Coleman got to gush over the man he called “the next Mr. Olympa.”
