Sharp Focus, Sustained Energy

Nootropics have gained plenty of attention recently for their promise of providing a mental and physical boost for tough gym days and taxing work sessions.

But the key to reaping those benefits? Finding a supplement that touts an evidence-backed formula powerful enough to meet your needs.

Kaged Mindset contains seven well-studied and evidence-backed nootropics, including:

  • Alpha CGP: A preferred source of choline which helps release acetylcholine, the “learning neurotransmitter”

  • American Ginseng: An adaptogenic herb used for thousands of years that may boost mental performance and stamina

  • Phosphatidylserine: A building block for functional brain cells

  • Huperzine A: Prevents the loss of acetylcholine to enhance the learning neurotransmitter

  • L-tyrosine: An amino acid that helps produce catecholamines and neurotransmitters involved in brain function under stress

  • Acetyl-l carnitine: An amino acid that plays a role in nervous system functioning and brain energy metabolism

  • L-phenylalanine: A mood-regulating amino acid

Choose between a caffeinated version of Kaged Mindset for a clean boost of energy or a non-caffeinated version for later in the day that won’t impact your sleep. Whichever one you go with, the high-quality ingredients in Mindset are ready to supercharge your focus, increase attention, boost motivation, and sharpen your memory.

Gaspari Sounds Off

Episode 36 of The Mike O’Hearn Show featured bodybuilder Rich Gaspari as a guest. For those too young to remember, Gaspari competed in seven Mr. Olympia contests during his career, reaching the podium four times, including three runner-up finishes from 1986-88.

In conversation with O’Hearn, Gaspari talked about a range of topics, including the importance of workout intensity and proper form. But the most intriguing part came when Gaspari said he feels like “hard work is being replaced by drugs” in modern competitors. He also said the size of today's bodybuilders comes at the cost of quality muscle.

“I want today's pro bodybuilders to be better than I was,” Gaspari said. "[They] are bigger, which is great, but are they better?”

ARNOLD CLASSIC FALLOUT

With the dust still settling on the 2023 Arnold Classic, bodybuilders — both past and present — are chiming in with their thoughts on Samson Dauda’s upset victory over Nick Walker. And one of the most vocal is Samir Bannout, the 1983 Mr. Olympia winner, who jumped on his Muscle Maturity podcast to give his opinion on Dauda’s physique.

“I wasn’t really impressed with Samson’s quality,” Bannout said.

Part of Bannout’s issue boiled down to — in his opinion — Dauda’s lack of conditioning and definition.

“I love his body, but there’s no clarity in his back,” Bannout said. “His back was still hazy, so maybe he ended up too flat.”
